Don't Step on the Ducks!

During sermon at church yesterday, the speaker shared with us the following story:

One day, three friends - Anderson, Phye Beng and Jason - arrived at the Pearly Gates and were greeted by St Peter. Before they entered Heaven, he left them with one message: Don't step on the ducks! No further explanation was given and the three friends wondered why such a strange message was passsed on to them.

As they explored their new surroundings, Jason accidentally stepped on a duck when he wasn't looking and ended up with a terribly hideous girl. Not wanting the same to happen to them, Anderson and Phye Beng were all too careful not to tread on any ducks.

A few days went by without any incident, but alas, it was Phye Beng who was the next in line to step on a duck. Not unlike his buddy Jason, he too was 'rewarded' by an equally hideous girl!

The last man standing, Anderson drummed it into his head that he had better not step on any ducks after witnessing what had happened to his two friends. He did a good job in avoiding any mishaps and one day met the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. Though he thought long and hard, he could not come up with any answers as to what he had done to deserve such a treat.

As the two spent their days getting better acquainted, he eventually discovered that she had stepped on a duck prior to meeting him!

this is such a strange, funny joke.

Old joke but I like this version (ie the use of the names for the local context). :-)

Notice that this joke is fine when the guys are the butt of the joke but if it was the other way around, it would be considered Politically churchy incorrect? LOL

Don 't beleive me, I am sure everyone ahd a big laugh including the girls but try and tell it with three single girls in church? You will get roasted. Now what does this tell us? :-)
