Jo had been waiting for the day that Tangs would open in KL. The day came, and went, yet she still had not made her way to the latest hang out in town that had reclaimed what was once a premier girls' school. For one, traffic around that area was known to be a nightmare. To add to that, she had heard from friends that parking there was equivalent to having a nice meal at a fancy restaurant.
For obvious reasons, it seemed the best time to pop over when everyone else was busy stuffing their faces with Raya goodies or else stuck in the jam somewhere along the highway. Jo was all the more excited when she got wind that Daniel Yam had reached Malaysian shores.
A few detours and more than half a dozen gowns later, Jo finally settled on one she would wear at the dinner. The next task is to pick out a pair of shoes and matching accessories ...
