Gingy

By the time our wedding rolls along, and perhaps for a long time after, we foresee that no one in our family will be wanting anything to do with gingerbread man. Thanks to Anderson's dedicated and super efficient mom-in-law-to-be, Jo's house is constantly laced with the smell of cinnamon.

Every other day, a few hundred gingerbread boys and girls are painstakingly made from scratch, complete with clothes and features. Almost an impossible feat to achieve single handedly, Jo's mom has, to her credit, created close to 600 Gingy boys and girls within a span of two weeks!

The age old saying that boys will be boys certainly holds true even among gingerbread communities, as there are far more gingerbread boys with missing arms than girls with any defective body part. Sometimes, you can't help but wonder what really goes on in the storage containers when no one is looking!
